Sally Hall - UKCC Coach

Sally runs the centre and has competed at advanced levels in both Eventing and Grand Prix Dressage and has been a member of the British Endurance International Squad on 7 occasions, winning Gold and Silver medals. She has also been a Chef d'equipe for International endurance teams and loves people to become involved in this exciting sport.

Sally enjoys working on rider positions and giving confidence in flatwork as well as jumping and also enjoys teaching side saddle and gives regular demonstrations and lessons in this elegant art.

Sally is very involved with Riding for the Disabled as Chairman of RDA Endurance riding and welcomes disabled riders at Urchinwood Manor.

Eve Pool - BHSI

Eve trained with Colonel Froud and Baron Hans von Blixen Finecke and attended regular courses with Stephen Hadley. Eve is wonderful with young horses, her knowledge of training from breaking to advanced levels has helped many riders reach their goals. All riders find Eve's classical system of training the horse and rider fascinating.

Michele Miles - BHSAI

Michele has successfully trained many students for their BHS, NVQ and Riding and Road Safety exams. Her thorough methods have led to an excellent pass rate.

Michele also enjoys teaching side saddle lessons.

Rachael Cragg - BHSAI

Rachael joined the Urchinwood team in 2017 teaching on a Thursday and Saturday and running the Pony Club and Children's Days. Her enthusiasm is a great asset to everyone.  she gained her BHS exams and returned from her full time job to concentrate on horses. She has just bought a lovely horse to work on.

Tammy Williams BHS stage 3

Tammy's calm approach is excellent with our many disabled riders. The youngsters thoroughly enjoy her lessons and she gives beginner riders confidence.  She has been part of the Urchinwood team, left to do other things and returned to us. Tammy is excellent at riding the young horses.

Alex Bamford - BHS Stage 1, NVQ Level 2

Alex trained at Urchinwood Manor and is a cheerful and caring member of the yard staff. She is always first on the yard in the morning and enjoys going to Dressage and Show Jumping competitions to help Louise and Sally.

Karen George - Competition Groom

Karen is one of the most experienced international endurance grooms having travelled to Dubai and all over Europe. Karen is excellent at equine massage and attends regular courses to keep her knowledge up to date.

She can now be found helping with the Young Equestrian group.

Julie Blundal - Morning Secretary

Julie, like Lucy undertakes the general administration and the accounts for Urchinwood. Prior to starting at Urchinwood she had not been involved in the equine world, but has quickly learnt.
